Reminds me of Robert Pirsig and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainance" in more than one way. But that doesn't diminish your story. To the contrary it seems to reveal something true in both stories of trips into the mountains.

Great to know u n ur respected father conquered your "mountains". I am a traveller too and I have been to those places myself, I was wondering if u climped Mt. everest or did u trek to the base camp ?
