I used to work at a Publix, and we would throw all the uneaten chicken stuff in the dumpster. And it's not one you can fish out of. Sucks, I could easily live off of it. Oh well, nothing I could do about it.

I think that these places should be doing more to not waste food at the end of the day. Of course, they do sell for profit and they can't just entice everybody to buy bagels at a discounted price at the end of the day, but they should do something.
While I do agree with living frugal and minimalistic, not senselessly throwing away money, I disagree with his sense of entitlement -- getting everything free from people. Do you really think it is so wrong to trade for goods and services?
