To talk to Eddie, you need to bring something chewy... and stinky. Fatima runs a quick SenderNet search for "chewy" and "stinky", and comes up with an article about a guy who lost his foot at work, but didn't get medical funding... The article says that his "sock is chewy and stinky from the pus".
Maybe you could go ask this guy about his sock?
