Sunday, December 18, 2011 -- Diving conditions have been excellent the last couple of weeks and with the access to the beach from Circle Way closed due to construction, we have been using the south ramp access to the beach. Diving the south side of Crescent Bay has been a new experience to those of us who have been diving the north side for the past 10+ years . Vic Hernandez was excited about seeing a California Butterfly Ray (Gymnura marmorata) and Pelagic Tunicates (Thetys vagina) the day before, so we decided to dive "The Other Side Of Crescent" again. As you can see in the video that, yes, there was a California Butterfly Ray and Pelagic Tunicates. At the end of the video I decided to make use of an unexpected rock exit and record some tide pool footage. Great dive. See ya, SR
