totally and completely agree with you 100% It is the best letter in all literature, and still sends me into Mrs. Bennet like raptures... well not that far. But I love reciting it over-dramatically by myself, and sighing over it... Persuasion is my favourite too and nothing can top that letter!!

Best Quotations were most certainly found in Persuasion. I feel that novel delved a bit deeper into the heart of emotions, esp. love, than Austen's other novels. My personal best that I can recall is the Letter--"half agony, half hope"--gorgeous.

@imittenen I really like Northanger Abbey (It's a close third behind P&P and S&S), but my mother says its because I'm close to Catherine's age.

@imittenen you are not the only one it is also my favourite

You chose great quotes from Emma and Pride and Prejudice.
Persuasion is undoubtedly your favorite. Captain Wentworth is on my top 3 Jane Austen men. :D

Nice.
Am I the only one that like Northanger Abbey?? I only hear bad things about that novel, but it is my fav. among the Austen novels.

Persuasion and Pride and Prejudice are my two favorites, with Emma not too far behind.
