Monasteries Of Ladkah (Cox & Kings)

Ladakh's monasteries are a testament to Buddhist culture. The walls are adorned with intricate carvings, paintings and embroidered ceremonial scrolls called Thangkas.

Ladakh is home to the Thikse Monastery, led by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
