Hey UC, actually she didn't. Tina Fey did in an SNL skit. She did say something in the Katie Couric interview to the effect that Alaska was keeping an eye out for the Russians because if Putin "reared his head" and they invaded the USA they'd have to come through Alaska to do it. You really can see Russia from the Alaskan island of Diomede in the Bering Strait, though. But she hasn't ever been there.

I supported her for governor of Alaska, since I don't live there. Post-November 4, I think myself and a whole lot of people are relieved that she's back in Wasilla shooting moose or whatever, and nowhere near the White House. That she could have been scared the foo out of me!

@willyr9 The left demonizes Sarah palin because they see her as a treat to their socialist views. Only fox news tells it like it is. Msnbc is so biased to the Left that they are not a reliable news source and have pounded palin at every opportunity; same with abc and cbs. It all depends on where you get your iformation and your political outlook.
