Dadaism is about finding alternate ways of doing things, even if is just being contrary and the delight of pissing off people who think the rules have unassailable sovereignty and dignity.
Also keep in mind it's not the 1910's when all of this was new, even the thought doing this stuff publicly was new.
The Ursonate is in German and is still nonsense because the words were chosen for how the sounded and flowed over actually saying something.
