I'd welcome a remake of Patrick over the excess of kitchen sink realist dramas we seem so hung up on making and funding.

Apart from actually getting a cinema chain to screen Australian film, the other problem is lack of promotion. If you look at the US for instance, the cast members and directors do the talk show circuit that takes in practically the whole country. We just do not have that in Australia.

The zinger at the end is by the same Antony I Ginnane who has just taken tax payers money to develop a remake of his own film PATRICK! er.. a remake of Patrick? WHY? Is this clown that devoid of artistic merit or inspiration? How about a remake of Turkey Shoot? Who put this guy in charge? Not Margaret and David they know bullshit when they it....

Good writing doesn't make up for bad communication.

If Rachel did "get it" she'd be trying to understand what works and what doesn't work in the communication process, not defend her precious ego/ egg.

Art is communication, and good artists know how to communicate.
