Guess youre using serato to control vci 300, u can "bridge" to sync it with ableton live 8. So simple. No need for an additional laptop/pc.

@EthanIsMusic I don't consider playing with effects djing for a start.

I agree with you to a point, in terms of mixing properly I don't believe it is 'mixing to a steady tempo' can be achieved while using the gear he has.

@rentatrent well then what do you consider dj-ing? I consider it the process of mixing tracks to a steady tempo. That's what it was 20 years ago and thats what it still is today. Sorry if it makes you mad that he isn't sitting behind a pair of technics but he's still mixing regardless.
