Supercharged SVT Raptor: 14.09 @ 97 mph 1/4 Mile

Introducing the 501 hp Hennessey Performance VelociRaptor 500. Ride along with John Hennessey as he unveils the new supercharged SVT Raptor with a blast down the quarter mile.

Dubbed the VelociRaptor 500, HPE takes the new 2010 Raptor to 501 HP and 520 lb-ft of torque with its supercharged upgrade, full stainless steel exhaust and custom tuning.

Performance results are phenomenal, with 0-60 mph taking just 5.6 seconds (vs. 8.8 second stock) and a quarter mile run in 14.09 seconds @ 97 mph (over 2 seconds quicker than stock).

The stock Raptor 5.4 makes 247 rear wheel hp. The VelociRaptor 500 makes 387 rear wheel hp.

Considering this tuck was not built for top end and i has trail tires, those are impressive numbers. 0-60 in 5.6!

I didn't think you could launch a truck in 4wd because there is no center diff. to balance axle rotation speeds. Anyone know?
