Hi,
This video takes you through the procedure (in tamil) for making simple karachevu.

PS: Apart from the recipe, you will also hear few casual(=trash) talks in this video (particularly from the male as he doesn't have anything else to do). If you get annoyed by these, please see some more of our videos. You will get used to it :-).

  • would be nice if you guys showed ur face too!

  • cute.. love the interaction between the cameraman and the star!

  • Sweet video, very natural. The videographer's voice sounds like the screen voice of Mike Mohan (surender's voice). Using the grater was an ingenous idea!

  • both of u did a grt job...enjoyed ur interaction...

  • can you put omam instead of jeera

  • please sir don't move the video cam so fast , it was not comfortable to watch, best thing u can keep video cam at one place and record

  • Excellent video.... Thanks akka n athimber... ;))

btw, when you add ghee or butter, it coats the maavu particle n segregates them into separate particles and when you fry that, each particle fries in all sides thus giving a nice crispy finish(or nammalava style la "karakarappu / morumoruppu") . It's used in baking n biscuits. :))

  • @subha2924 you are very cutely talking.

  • Haha cute. But athu teaspoon ella table spoon :)
