Me rambling about some weird ass trends a noticed in some of those most subscribed peoples videos on youtube. Oh yes, I do say LIKE hella times in this video.

chop editing is "borrowed" from TV. it maintains people's attention. try noticing the next time you watch a TV show. They don't chop as often, but most shows feature frequent transitions.

@PrettyBish08 i understand what you mean about the editing ... if its talent, it shouldn't be edited so much. But about the weird/akward/ and random shit they do, i think it is a good tactic because it's brave of them to act so silly, put themselves out there and well, be themselves. I think people like to see other people doing shit they do so they can relate and really it brings out comedy as well. I think people like Kane and those girls are wild have real talent. Do you mean like 'Kitty". ?

Making a "straight video" would be pretty boring. Think about it. If you watched a movie or a TV show and it never had the necessary cuts and edits in it, you wouldn't watch it because it would be boring and just bad. Thats why they get a ton of subscribers and views. And they're just interesting. If you're boring and normal, you won't be that interesting. Thats just the way it is. Even before youtube its been that way.
