YouTube Legally Blonde Audition #2

PLEASE READ!

Attempt #2!!!! Yay!

Same as the one before, only my voice is a little more warmed up in this one and I was really perky. Though, in this one I have in my retainer, so I'm kind of lisping. Usually I take it out when I sing, so that wouldn't be a problem if I actually got a part. :)
Oh, and by the way, the person saying "thaaaanks" at the end is indeed Cassie Silva from the Search for Elle Woods (though we all know her from Hairspray- wow!) And she actually gave me advice on this audition, so there's my little thank you to Cassie.

Honey, I listened to both your auditions. You have gotten better. But I don't think you were born with a talent for singing, have you ever considered trying another thing? Like dancing? Or stage acting but not musicals? Honestly, dear. Some people are really born with the talent, while others really aren't. I'm one of those who aren't so I know how you feel. No offense meant, I'm just trying to help.

@reyesolivia5 When you say 'both,' which auditions are you talking about? Because the Legally blonde ones were taken one right after the other... so there can't really be much improvement in ten seconds... haha. And I definitely wasn't born with any talent in my opinion, so I completely agree. But I just try to keep improving and learning from crap like this. I have done dancing and acting and I have been successful with acting, thank you very much. This was also recorded about 4 or 5 years ago;

@GlindyUpland before I had any vocal training at all. This isn’t a good representation of my voice at all now… I don’t even know why I keep it up, honestly… I still don’t think I’m good, but I’ve definitely improved. I appreciate your comment! Thanks for sharing!

Honey I am a fat red hair girl but if the role is bettwen u and me I am so getting the part. It dosen't matter if u had ur retainer on, u have to trainne ur voice

First of, it's good to be confident, but being selfish can sometimes get annoying. You might have gotten the part if that was the case, but be carfukl about how big your head gets, sweetie. :)

Second, try reading some other comments- I have been taking lessons for over a year now, and yeah, I don't sound like a dying cat anymore.

Honey! Good 4 u!!!!!! but I didn't mean it like that. Producers and directors could be very bitchy sometimes and I was just trying to make a point, not sound like omg! I better than u, but yes! very good 4 u taking singging lessons cause they will be helpfull not just for this particular ocation but for other times as well. Trust me I am an actrice and they have helped me a lot.

yeah, me too. I can get used to the directors being bitchy since i don't really care about that anymore. Low self confidence sometimes helps. :)

wth? hmm maybe you should audition for a speaking part.. or maybe a dancing part... or a miming part... Maybe you should chose another career such as doctering or gardening bc singing is not for u hun, truly sorry but..... :/
