@arklebunrabbit yes i know what you mean castles fasinate me especally this one. it was used to sleep soldiers during the civil war, i am a female musketier in the civil war reenactment, and i feel i belong to the jane Austin period also. it must be prievious life phanomina.

@andyb1314 Wow that is pretty cool-I love the portrait in the castle of a young cavalier as you go up the stairs.I felt very comfortable in those rooms.Hope you have a chance to go there & visit your family seat so to speak.

@lizzykay50 yeah me too. I am actually directly related to the demohun (or mohun) family that bought the castle from william the conqueror in medieval times. And I'm American, so it's really cool for me to see something my ancestors were part of so long ago all the way across the world.

Ever feel like you were meant to visit or be somewhere? That is what Dunster is for me.Perhaps I've always been there in some form or another.
