Al Downing - I'll Be Holding On - Soul / Disco 45rpm

"Big" Al Downing was known as a Country & Western singer, one of the few Black singers to be inducted into the Rockabilly Hall Of fame.

Was said to be a Northern Soul hit also.

His 1974 single, "Ill Be Holdin On", made the Disco charts in America and Europe. He had a number 1 hit on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play in 1974 with "I'll Be Holding On".

I've looked for this song since the winter of 1975....never knew the author, never knew the title.......just remembered a DJ named David Glen Irwin at WROM in Rome, Georgia used it as his theme song while I was in High School there. Finally I found it again...I can die now.........I've done everything...
