Colobus monkeys have delevoped a novel way of healing themselves by using the man-made environment around them to it's full potential and stealing charcoal. Amazing wildlife film from BBC Worldwide.

  • they sill use charcoal in hospitals today! they use it like when somebody has took to much alcohol, medicine, illigal drugs, etc. For overdoses and so on!!

  • wow I am from africa and we eat these too for stomach pain and other digesting related problems

  • Activated carbon! The same stuff we use to filter water!
