How do you get into comp shooting in Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville area?
-
I have almost the same setup. I have a carver mount and c-more sights like you as well as a 10 port comp from carver. I have a ccf slide and I have lowered the ejector port as well as changed the lsb spring (stronger one) and used an non-lci extractor. I am still getting stove pipes... I am about to give up on this setup... I am using 8.1 grs of hs-6 sitting on a 125gr jhp hornady (cone one) with 1.11 oal. I don't know hwat else to do... : (
go to the USPSA website and look up the local clubs theres a ton of them

Would it be a lot more faster if you engages the steel first and starting with a long stick then engage the last four paper? just asking as i do not know the COF. Thank you.... Great run by the way!!!

@690sm it was faster to engage the paper and leave the steel for last it was 18 pieces of steel. when you engage steel you might or might not knock them down. not knocking down steel can be frustrating and throw you off of the rest of the stage. i started with a large mag of 27 then after all of the paper was done i reloaded another 27 rd mag to engage the steel fresh mag= fresh start on the steel.

@690sm we also had to leave our mags on the blue barrels so i had to place my mag strategically on the course to accomodate the way i shot the course.
