This charming chalet has been a long-time best seller. It has nice proportions and is beautifully colored. The dancers are animated, as well as the baby deer below. With each cuckoo call they are startled and actually jump up.

New details in this piece include laser-cut windows and beautifully carved deer. The roof has individually hand-laid shingles, and the dial, hands, and bird are all of solid wood. The waterwheel also turns and there are several fine details on this clock - including a "hidden window' on the side of the clock.

This "Jumping Deer " cuckoo clock is by Rombach und Haas and is exclusively available through North Coast Imports. It is an Original Black Forest Clock, certified by the VDS.

The clock comes packaged in genuine recycled or renewable materials, each clock made and packaged BY HAND by Black Forest craftsmen the same way they have been for hundreds of years. The bird and dancers move along with the mechanically produced music and cuckoo call.

The sound of the bird is produced by real wooden whistles and the music box movement is hand made in Switzerland . If you are interested in this clock please Email us at: clocks@NorthCoastImports.net - please be sure to include your zip code so we can direct you to a dealer in your area. • Do these clock last a long time? Are they heavy? How do wound them? Thanks for your information.

  • @joydarling314 They last for generations! They aren't that heavy. You wind them by pulling on the chains so that the weights are at the top. By the end of the week the weights will be down at the floor. These clocks are powered by gravity! Be sure to check our website for more information.

  • What is the diffrence between the 8 day and the one day? i

  • @joydarling314 The 8-day is wound once a week. The 1-day needs to be wound every day. 8-day musical cuckoo clocks are the most collectible and most elaborate cuckoo clocks you can get. They spare no expense on these models, with larger music boxes, larger cases, deeper cuckoo bird whistles. 8-day clocks are truly heirloom pieces.

  • @northcoastimports Why some cuckoo clocks have music box, like this one?

  • @MultiTech89 Why not! :)
