A Jemi Story (Episode 3-Destiny)

The next day at school.

Joe: Hey Dems, what's going on?
Demi: Nothing much, you?
Joe: Nothing, um well do you mind if I ask you a question? *gets nervous and squirmy*
Demi: Sure *Thinks is he going to ask me!!*
Joe: Well, would you like to go ou-
"JOEEEE!" a scream is heard down the hallway!
Joe: Ughh, c'mon A.J! *Thinks why didn't she understand me when I said we had to break up!*
A.J: Hey! What's up babe?
Joe: *Very annoyed* A.J we aren't going out, we broke up.--D-demi?
But Demi's heart was already broken. Demi was halfway down the hallway, tears stinging her eyes, running as fast as she could.
Joe: Demi, no please, it's not like that!
A.J: Well, it kinda is Joe, I mean I know I was stupid to break up with you and I'm sorry. But how about a date Saturday?
Joe: No, A.J. You just made me lose the only girl I have ever loved.*tear runs down his cheek*
A.j: B-b-ut, I love you.
Joe was already down the hallway, searching frantically for Demi. But she had gone to the girl's bathroom.

Demi: Gosh, I knew it! Why did I make myself believe he liked me!!
Selena: Demi??!
Demi: yes, *voice cracking*
Selena: Hey, i just saw joe running down the hallway looking for you, he was worried!
Demi: Yeah, worried about who? A.J?
Selena: Demi. *hugs her* what happened?
Demi: A.J called him babe. Why would I be so stupid to believe he liked me!? Why! *cries harder*
Selena: Don't worry! *hugs her tighter*It will be ok, I promise.
Demi:I hope so. Can i ask you something?
Selena: Anything.
Demi: I don't think I can go back there, Do you think you could call my mom to come pick me up?
Selena: Sure *Dials number, Mrs. Lovato, could you please come pick Demi up from school she.. umm doesn't feel well.*
Demi: Is She coming?
Selena: Yeah, she said to wait for her outside.
Demi: ok, well you better head back to class, I don't want you to get detention for being late.
Selena: Okay, call me later. *Hugs Demi*
Demi: *heads outside, as a single tear trickles down her face*

where I live (U.S.) we do get detention for being late,

the rule just got made by our prinicpal a week ago
