  • NO NO not a good way to put the thermal past on the CPU, you don't just put a massive BLOB in the middle and hope the heat sink with spread it out for you if that don't spread out properly there will be air gaps and you will end up with hot spots that will kill your CPU, you apply a small amount to the center and use a business card or credit card or something and spread it out evenly.... i thought these people are supposed to be experts?

  • This is really a pretty awful video. You don't show us anything about installing the CPU... you just tell us what to do, which is pretty misleading. And you'd have to be deluded to think that thermalpaste will spread out to all of the cpu.

  • @viperfrank That is exactly what you CANNOT do, a blob in the middle is actually correct! Spreading it around with a credit card or whatever makes air bubbles more likely to form... and I have backup evidence for my claim. Go to Innovation Cooling's website and read their guide on application instructions for their paste.

  • He just cum on the cpu

  • HEY MY NAME IS TROLL AND I'am TELLING YOU TO GET A BETTER CAMERA.

  • lol , how much thermal past does he put there ? lol

  • @teetertoter3 well, physics dictate that after the water has evaporated from the heat a CPU generates, the temperature WILL continue to rise. so the cpu's temerature will stick around 100 degrees C (which is already not good) for a while, untill all the water is evaporated. then it will continue to rise.

water has no maximum temperature. it would work when the cpu is used for shorter periods of time, and then shut off long enough to let the temperature lower again to room temperature.

  • @ixy1987 You don't need thermal paste. Just a little bit of water on the cpu will become sealed by the fan, and continually act as a coolant. Thermal paste is a waste of money.

  • just 1 comment for this video: EPIC FAIL !!

  • WRONG! you spread the termal paste, why didn't you show how to put the cpu in the motherboard?
