On May 1, 2009. I took a trip back in time. Fort Ross was built in California by the Russians in 1812. America was busy with England and the Spainards saw the fortifications and did not dare attack. The Russians traded with the locals and provided services. They were industrious and built boats. Redwood was abundant. There mission was to supply the winter needs in Alaska. Unfortunately they sold the Fort in 1841, a few years before the California gold rush.
It would be cool if California was taken by Russia instead of Spain. And, called Novuy Rossii, but then part of US, and then we'd be speaking Russian.

I read a very good book named,"Sutter of California." It was written in 1939. The history is amazing. I highly recommend this read.

Я хотел использовать часть от 'Beethoven', который Транс-сибирский Оркестр выполнил. Я купил компакт-диск.
