He died because he used a large amount of cocaine and his body just couldn't handle it any more. Biig respect.
Best reggae singer ever and my personal favorite.
And according to me he's still alive, in his music and our hearts.

I SAW A TV SHOW ONCE WHERE HE WAS SINGING SOME OF HIS OWN INFLUENCE'S TUNES -
LIKE NAT KING COLE & OTHERS.
IF HE BECAME SERIOUSLY ILL IN THE UK /EUROPE, USA - HE WOULD PROBABLY BE STILL ALIVE.
