What kind of Dumbass try to beat a Muscle car in drag..

I know that there are more 10sec cars out there that are street driven, I had a Legacy that did 12's and there are ones that completely destroyed it in a straight line. It would be nice to see Jasons car run. I'm a true believer in Stand Alone EMS's, and I can only imagine 9.9's in his car was obtained this way. One day I hope I have the pleasure of visiting your shop I know i can learn a great deal from you guys.
Keep the shiney side up!

LOOKING GOOD MIKE AND GUYS

We were very disappointed when we weighed it, but I'm sure we can take a lot of weight out of it some day when there's time.

@InnovativeTuning , Thats really heavy, 1329kg, My wagon is only 1110kg, or 2440lbs In street trim, There must be some serious ponies comming out of that thing.

Sounds like a fun project. :)
It was about 2925 lbs. that day on their scale at the track.

@InnovativeTuning Awsome, My 96 wagon won't be that quick, I want to put a FMIC and Haltech ECU, along with custom Intake and Exhaust. But I'll only be running a stock WRX Engine, I hear they are only good for 1 bar unlike your sti running 2 bar.
How much did this car weigh during this run?
Thanks! Yup his car is running a standalone ECU that we made a custom wiring harness for.

There are some fast Subaru's here in Canada, this is an excellent example of Subaru power. In 2010 Warwagon in his car, put down 10.26 @ 135MPH in a 3190lbs. daily driver. I'm sure he or someone else in 2011 will beat this record.

@CrownGear
Thanks!!! Comparing this car to Warwagon's car, which we're not associated with, highlights why we're happy with our build. His build took 7 years of trying and around 150 grand to achieve that 10.26. Ours took a few days to build and the car plus mods cost less than a stock WRX. We ran 10.4 back in 2007.
In 2010 we helped our customer Jason from Canada put together a Subaru which went 9.9 on a budget. It went 10.3 the first time it was driven. No years of trying and money wasted.
