Sen. Biden Brags: "My State Was A Slave State"

Joe Biden is correct. For those of you that know your American history Delaware was a slave state at that time it was a very conservative state. I don't really consider it to be a Southern state but like Biden said it is a border state and not a northeastern state. Also, that was not a racist comment. Stating a fact is not racist. It's ridiculous how many of you look for any little excuse to call someone a racist. Mentioning history is not racist. Leave the name calling job to Al Sharpton.

Deleware was slave state,but prior to the civil war it had almost completely abolished slavery & freed the small percentage of slaves it had,and it stayed "Union" side during the civil war,so he is stretching the truth alot.

Delware is roughly 75% white and 19% african american..in terms of population it has about the 10th highest african american %..but DE only has about 750K people,so in terms of 150K african americans it's one the smallest in total african americans.stretching again
