ok people. back when abraham lincoln was a "republican" the republican party had the ideals of today's democratic party. The democratic party back in the day had the same ideals as today's republican party. so pretty much republicans back in the 1800's were really democrats and democrats in the 1800's were pretty much republicans.

Chris Wallace purports that being a Northeastern liberal, Biden can't relate to the SC demographic... to which Biden pointed out the historical similarities between SC and his own state. He's not literally bragging about his state being a "slave state", what he brags about is his chances in the SC primary.
