  • Great Vid,but I'm a bit confused. When you're done , do you pour in ultracal 30,white hydracal , and any other gypsum material to remake the white base your started with. I've watched plenty of videos but I never can seem to find the right answer. An answer would be greatly appreciated.

  • @BiggerRecordsUs This mold is suitable for casting just about any gypsum material from plaster to ultracal. The purpose of this step is to make a mold for reproducing face casts for prosthetic work.

  • Does this resin have an odor?

  • @willc2 Unlike polyester resin (bondo), Polyurethane resin has almost no odor and the odor it has is not bad at all. If you are using large quantities of resin it is a good idea to work in a well ventalated room.

  • looks eatable.

  • @charliethehumanoidkd But it is not.

  • @brickintheyard EasyFlo 60 is my new go-to material. Polyester resin, you're DEAD TO ME

  • Thx

  • A mold like this will last many years if made and handled properly. If you are making plaster casts from the mold it will be good for 100+ copies.
