I don't know why they didn't port the original ROS to the GBA. It was the greatest platform game ever made. Sad when you think about how SEGA changed from it's pre-sonic to post-sonic.

this game has a another ending,theGOOD ending.you can get this ending if you earn the honors.

Revenge of Shinobi (Genesis) had three different revisions. I do mean the Batman boss that appeared in the very first version of Revenge of Shinobi, while the third version of the game acknowledged Spider-Man on the boot up screen.

Well, you're right. The boss wasn't meant to look like Batman. But then again, I wish Sega would release the original version anyway...

I have this game on the Smash Pack for Dreamcast, and I don't think that's supposed to be DC Comics' Batman. For one, it clearly doesn't look or behave like him. Two, I don't remember Batman being credited the proper ownership rights in one of the opening screens like Spidey is for Marvel. With Sega's new deal to produce develop and publish Marvel's games, the licenseship hurdle would be a lot easier to clear. So hey, it could happen.

I bought this game at $10 new only for the box art and the manual.
5 seconds into the game and I was so shocked at the atrocity of this game that I turned my Game Boy Advance off, pulled out the cartridge, threw it insomewhere and I never touched it again.
