I owned an 08 straight axle outlaw 525s and it would wax raptor 700s , all it had was air box mod and hmf pipe... the trx 700 was the fastest stock quad iv seen also.

As for reliabilty, japanese are the best however that doesnt mean everything else is shit. I have punished my outlaw since day 1 and taken it to over 50 track races and i can honestly say i have had no issues with the engine the only thing that has happened so far is the sceew for my battery terminal came loose. Best ATV ever. Puts a massive smile on my face ever time. I have had raptors and yes they are also excellent quads but dont have the same power/accelaration and you dont get the same bu

The outlaw 525 KTM motor is the worlds fastest acclerating quad and is not for novice drivers. I have a Outlaw and it took me 2 months or so before i could blast it flat out in 1 st and 2 nd gear because there is that much power it would flip the quad if you just went flat out so you have to slowly feed the power in. An experienced rider on an Outlaw 525 would beat any stock ATV out there. Trust me if you havent driven one dont talk shit because when you drive one you will see what i mean.

@TheGrimfantasy actually yamaha is way more relaible than that piece of shit european company!ktm's are fast but not reliable you better check out my vids then cuz my buddy has a 04 raptor 660r and its been pounded since day one oil was never changed and it still running and i have no idea how raptor 700 is a better trail bike and its fater than the outlaw

Anyway it comes down to the rider not the machine with 700r vs outlaw thats all there is to it. And FYI I'm pretty sure outlaws have ALOT better and more reliable motors. If you doubt that look up how long KTM has been using the same type powerplant.

A stock outlaw will usually be about a bike length behind the 700r but with stock 14 tooth sprocket outlaw stock goes 76mph. My outlaw smokes 3 mod 700rs

That looks about right to me. I have a 2008 Raptor 700 and a 2007 Outlaw 525 irs. Both bikes weigh about the same with the Outlaw having a lot of weight in the back from the IRS. The outlaw has good midrange power, the raptor is smooth.
Not sure how you can tell what rider is better or not from that video???
