"One fact has been overlooked in the creation vs. evolution letters I've read recently in the Argus Leader. In order for any species of animal, bird, fish, insect, etc., to exist and to reproduce, a male and a female of each species must come into existence at the same time and in the same place to be able to meet and procreate.

For evolution to occur, each species that ever has existed needed an original male and female, fully compatible with each other for breeding purposes, to magically come into existence at precisely the same time in the billions of years of the Earth's history. Even if that happened against astronomical odds, the Earth is a big place. The primordial male and female of each species would have had to come into existence within a few yards or males of each other to meet and procreate.

The odds against even one species coming into existence via evolution is beyond calculation. If you can believe that all the myriads of species on Earth burst into existence against such impossible odds, you are a prime candidate to be sold some ocean-side property in Nebraska.

The only scientific explanation for the existence of so vast a number of species on Earth is found in Genesis 1: That a creator being we call God designed each species and created a male and female of each species at the same time and in the same place so they could breed future generations. Genesis' creation-week account is the only logical explanation for the existence today of every species that needs a male and female to reproduce.

Evolution has no credible scientific explanation for the origin of any species. It is a hoax foisted on modern mankind. "

Hey, I am an atheist, so you think I would agree with you. But your argument is fundamentally flawed. You read two paragraphs of an article, then scoff at it. You keep mentioning Darwin's Origin of Species, but you say it yourself, Theory of Evolution. Its a theory, it is debatable. But you are not debating the Christian God scenario, you are mocking it, which is offensive. Back your arguments up with citations and quotes from reliable sources, quoting Darwin himself may have been a good start.
