I have changed the title[s] on this video to stop all the "this is fake" and "it's not the real Gallifrey" comments, I Have NEVER proclaimed it to be footage of Gallifrey nor has anyone else, No one is trying to fool anyone otherwise it's just a video depicting the planet of the Timelords that was lost in the TimeWar, so for the love of all things holy please stop with the tedious bitching.

Get it?
Got It?
Good.

An extended look at Gallifrey the Home Planet of the Doctor, the planet was destroyed by the Daleks during the last great Timewar and this video is in remembrance of what he's lost.

Enjoy.

  • @xxkitkatkatexx in nearly all the Dr Who episodes that are set on Gallifrey are usually seen in the context of the Capitol Complex, the preserve of the Time Lords, rather than the planet itself where the ordinary Gallifreyan inhabitants live out their lives. Only the Shobogan camp where Leela and Rodan take refuge do we see `younger` Gallifreyans but not children per se.

  • @xxkitkatkatexx they're all in the academy

  • @Voshra He does return to gallifrey in the old series, infact there is loads about it.

  • have you noticed in all the old doctor who episodes on gallifrey you never see any children on gallifrey

  • when the doctor had to destroy gallifrey by breaking the time feild WE WERE SO CLOSE TO SEEING ALL OF GALLIFREYS BEAUTY (that is if it was before the time war)

    i long for the day we get to see the doctor return to gallifrey and walk amongst the time lords, it would so great! and i dont think any actor on earth..no...IN THE UNIVERSE could put a smile on the doctors face when he gets to see his children again (;

  • The choice of the song is wonderful ! It makes everything so much more beautiful , it represent how Gallifrey was probably one of the greatest planet in the universe and how it was habited by great people (before the time war) but it also show how everything has disappeared...I watched the movie with the eigth regeneration after all the new series, and when I saw Gallifrey written on the computer of the Tardis showing how long it will took him to go to galligrey; I was so sad...

  • @Voshra -- Agreed. :)

    Though I think that's the reason we find Gallifrey so intriguing: he can't go back. The mystery and wonder of a world we will never see is intoxicatingly fascinating to us. I think it's better left for us to dream and wonder what Gallifrey is like because that's where the magic is. :)

  • @liverpool12301 meh, he brought the most passion to the role. nuff said.

  • well done

  • @Voshra o my god why does everyone thing that tennant was the best doctor,i mean sure he was brilliant but he isnt the best to evertybody,theres loads of good doctors.Tom baker ,Matt smith etc.by the way nice vid
