A compilation of various VFX tests completed for L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Shots are arranged mostly chronologically, ranging from November 2007 to February 2010 and representing everything from technique try-outs to style tests. Also included is a partially completed version of the original cut of the teaser trailer.

  • It's good, it's Good, it's All GOOD!

NOW I can see how the Scarecrow's face will work. Love the Cyclone bits (Uncle Henry yet to be actually cast, right?) and cannot wait to see how this all gets put together. Funny music you used first. Scarecrow looks SCARY at times hanging like that . . . !

And the New/Original TEASER . . . ALL GREAT!! Dialogue hard to make out at times again, but still great sneaky-peaks (and easy to get upon multiple viewings and listening carefully)!

    THANK YOU!!

  • @VideoSam16

Thanks for the kind words. Uncle Henry has not been cast yet, I just threw on a half costume and filmed myself in front of a greenscreen so I could test out this shot idea I had. I look like an ass, but I figured out what I needed to figure out so... Mission accomplished or something.

  • @nightmarecrazy08 your the one to talk only have 3 videos and the only one where you held the camera you don't have anything in focus.... But I will defined your right to have freedom of speech even if you are a moron.. and by the way I was dog sitting for a friend that was out of country for 6months. This was a way for Her to see her dogs.

  • @michaelsilberstein And all this is coming from the guy who has the most non-entertaining dog in the world. I mean, most dogs are at least smile-worthy. But why in the heck would you post a video of your lame dog? It would be a LITTLE better if there was a funny cat involved, but no. You'd rather troll around other people's videos than give the people what they want! We want ENTERTAINING videos!

  • @Snapplelite They are not ripping off anything. This is obviously nothing like the MGM movie, and you clearly haven't done your research if you don't know that the 1939 movie and the original Oz books are VERY different. You don't have to watch the movie. In fact, it would be more peace and quiet if you DIDN'T. Why should they pay you to watch? Because you're already buying overpriced ICED TEA? Go drink your Snapple Lite or something.

  • @Snapplelite "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" was a book by L. Frank Baum and W.W. Denslow. Published in 1900. "The Wizard of Oz" was a film made by MGM starring Judy Garland, released in 1939. The MGM film made sweeping changes to the story and does not accurately represent what the book is. We are not remaking the '39 film. We are doing an entirely new and far more faithful adaptation. We're doing this as fans of the book, and have not seen one cent of profit. We are NOT "Hollywood".

  • @KeyserSushi dam your stupid... "Hollywood' is a generic term used for anyone that makes movies, TV shows or any other video media for profit... and any amount for this is to much... you should be paying us to see this.. If you can not come up with a good original movie and only can remake a classic. you are just ripping off the original creators of the OZ. If you want to do a good OZ follow there scrip to the T do it just like they did but update the set.. Crisper not changed

  • @Snapplelite We're not Hollywood, and it's not a remake. Also I don't understand what you mean about costing too much. Whom is it costing too much? Our budget is infinitessimal, but that's hardly your problem. And uh...if it gets into theaters (which is unlikely) I wouldn't want you to utorrent it anyway, as I need to eat. But thanks for your opinion.

  • @Snapplelite LOL I agree with you wast of HDD space

  • @michaelsilberstein Agree with you its like making a better mouse trap... just because you can dose not mean it works any better and most the time it sucks and cost to much... Shit i wont even wast my bandwidth or HDD space to utorrent this crap

  • another crappy remake from Hollywood. its not going to be any better than the first and 99% chance that i will not even watch it even if someone else rents it for me. 1% chance that I will watch it after doing 3-4 hits of acid. but at that point I will be 2 high to care about how crappy the remake is and the pink elephant in the room watching it with me will be much more entertaining than your crappy remake. From all of us Just Stop just because you can remake a movie dose not mean you should.
