MV Storrington, a general cargo ship, sailing into a storm force 12 off west coast of portugal in february 2010.
This storm later went on to hit madeira and spain

  • @olehead46 Thanks Vinnie I left the Uk for NZ many moons ago,at sea as AB/Bosun all my working life on Kiwi ships after ten years UK.Stevies were all coasters in my day Just one deep sea job from memory.I was on the" Keynes" flat iron running NE - London river for a while.Had no idea that they still operated just took a stab from the name and paint colours.Are you still at sea?

  • Although this is really nice this definitely not force 12. it not even near force 12 anywhere. And I have some experience with force 12 gales in the Gold of Biskaya and the surrounding areas.
