This film is a work of fiction, though it is based on real places. 250 Horseshoe Bay is a real bus route in West Vancouver and really does run where stated in the film. However, I do not know if Mitchel Island below the Knight Street bridge is where buses 'go to die' and the whole 'accident in 1995 thing was made up. Besides that, everything is real; Vancouver IS the third largest city in Canada.

A blooper reel to come soon. This film was made through many, many hours of work chasing Translink's buses throughout the vast city of Vancouver. There are elements of this film which did not make the final cut, such as extensive filming of the Skytrain and Seabus. We travelled the entire Skytrain route, both Expo and Millenium, visited Richmond, Surrey, Horseshoe Bay, Park Royal and the Phibbs Exchange, as well as Capilano University's bus loop. This film is meant as a tribute to the bus drivers of Coast Mountain Bus Company as well as drivers world wide, who make the lives of car-less people the world over easier.

THANK YOU! Your late nights and early mornings in all manner of traffic are GREATLY appreciated!

My final project for directing & my first ever film.

Directed, written, filmed and narrated by Rosanna P. Brost

  • baahahahah "Knight Street bridge is where buses 'go to die'" xD

  • Actually, Vancouver is NOT the 3rd largest city in Canada, and Vancouver's population is NOT 2 mil. The REGION of Greater Vancouver, an area encompassing some 50 municipalities, is just over 2 mil. Vancouver's population is barely over 600,000. Its time to realize, Vancouver is NOT all that and a bag of chips!

  • Sadly this video isn't entirely fiction, as of the end of March, West Vancouver's high floor buses have all been retired :(

  • Cool. I've taken the 250 to Horseshoe Bay. I was there in May of last year. Cool place.

  • Then what's the point?

  • This is the best video on youtube. I think you should be nominated for a oscar for best picture. It's totally under-rated. I loved it. Thank you for the inspiration. This film has changed my life!

  • Roflmao at someone hating on your video. (This is Lee, by the way)

I freaking loved it. It's so cute. <3
