Macgyver920 is wrong on many counts, in particular it's worth noting that the engines are not all Japanese - the 2.0D in this one is the ford/PSA lump and so built in Europe somewhere. Maybe one or more of the NA petrols are shared with Mazda (the 3 is the same floor pan as the C30 and the previous gen focus). The 2.5 T5 engine is not

Japanese.

Ps. The C30 is made is Belgium.

Their new concept cars, such as the Volvo Concept Universe for example, are designed in China by Chinese designers, and all Volvo engines are Japanese. The Americans managed to ruin Saab, and now Volvo as well.

@bathtonesbykarl *was. The company was bought by Ford in 1998, and owned by them for 12 years before they sold it to a Chinese shit company called Geely in 2010. Volvo is anything buy Swedish, but rather built in China.
