Ever wonder what happens to the clothing you donate to charity? This film discussses the for-profit used clothing industry and its impact on indigenous textile manufacturers.
Alot of the unsold clothing goes to the rag industry,we used to buy bails of cut rag from companies who sell sorted and cut rag,it was not cheep, but you need it in the motor industry, its cheaper than 100's of blue towel rolls.
Good one, many poor people ending are ending up having to shop at these stores and that's the local community that the people donating usually think their items and or proceeds benefit. It's a friggin business man not a charity at all.Look at the wages they pay, minimum to maximize profit.
