Oh jesus. Thank god this soundtrack was on the SNES. The Genesis was better at making its individual instruments sound distinct but the SNES had such a better orchestration-like quality and less farty sounding music.

I must find a DeLorean and go back in time and buy the Metroid franchise off of Nintendo and sell it to SEGA.

I really think this soundtrack works on the genesis soundchip.
It had a much more hard electronic edge to its sounds. It really goes great with the forboding science fiction atmosphere of the game. It almost makes it more spooky.
Excellent work, though hopefully you should be tired of hearing what a great job you did on this by now.
Love hearing your re-edits.
