Awful, I can see what he wanted to do, but he can't do it. He misses all those harmonics. There are too many bassists who play "wacky" off the wall stuff to cover up bad technique and poor intonation. This is the type of thing any semi-imaginative player could pull off. I have watched other clips of him doing pretty much the exact same thing, smacking the bass and making a noise, compared to a guy like Garcia-Fons he looks like an amateur. If I was him I would not have posted this trash.

I agree with 'gruntcakes' and 'mattlikespeople'. This is pretty crap and out of tune, etc. The solo stuff I'm doing at the minute is much better.

I like it .......he is a deep ocean........some people may not get it........but hey there are fuckwits in the world........he can tap into something far beyond notes and tunning.....he also is a great player of the famous game 2/3.....

this is utter crap. i sounded better in 6th grade. maybe you should practice a bit so you arent so scratchy on those harmonics. maybe a french bow so you're pushing the bow into the string, not pulling. the only aprt that sounded halfway decent was the end and you were still outta tune
