Back before all that clear channel bullshit, when radio stations used to play remixes right after sundown (even on weeknites, but especially on weekends). Ya. This was one of the biggest top 40 dance records end of '86/early '87

I have a playlist on all of my ipods named "Hey JJ" b/c of this song. '86 rocked. Celts won the NBA title, Louisville beat my Blue Devils for their last National title. Da Bears kicked ass in the Super Bowl. Len Bias left us. My innocence was taken, but i liked it. (she know who she is) LOL. BTW, does any current musician use horns in their songs? Just asking. SMDH!!!

Im 29 and have loved this since i was 19, i looked through so many cest la vi songs, but here it is, this shit jams. Especially at the end of the first verse when the saxophone hits a note and robbie goes get excited at the note and has a music climax, mostly musicians and artist can relate to that..
