This is one engineer's point of view of some scenes (yep, you guessed it - mostly steam oriented) from the 2008 American Threshermen Association Summer Show in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
Well, the video doesn't really do the show justice, but at least you can get a little "taste" of what it's all about. Pinckneyville has always taken pride in calling itself "The Action Show" and we try to keep things going all the time!
Although Keck is my personal favorite, you GOTTA LOVE the way that beautiful 50 horse Case of Lee's talked to that dyno!!! WOW!!! Some sorta decent vid of both Keck (Miller & Gentry) valve gear in action here too . . .
Be sure to check out "American Threshermen Show, Pinckneyville, Illinois - Summer Show 2008 - Part A" too!

The ATA has an awesome 50TH ANNIVERSARY DVD that covers steam, gas, the 2008 IH National meet, tractor pulls and TONS of other stuff available. If you're interested in one check the ATA website - they're GREAT!

Sorry this video isn't nearly as good as it oughta be on here. If you might be interested in a 2+ hour DVD that's crystal clear and just about all steam you can email me at: keck1852@gmail.com - I guarantee it'll "scratch your itch" for steam and keep you warm until spring!
Great video, please move the logo!

Great video, except: That unwanted, nuisance pravtube logo right in the center of the screen, blocking my view of some of the apparatus. Please remove the logo or put it down in a corner of the screen!!
I heard several neat little whistles, mostly Buckeye 3-chime's that came with these tractors from the factories, I did hear one little Powell in the middle of the video. I LOVE these old engine shows and have been to several. Please redo this without the logo floating in the center! thanks!!

The noon whistle blow was my favorite part of the show!! We were there in 2007 when they were featuring the J.I. Case Heritage Foundation along with Helen Case Bingham, the great granddaughter of the founder of Case. My son got to meet her.
