I thought you can only legally take a maximum of three, seven inch wide (long ways) or larger abalone per day during the season. DFG is usually on that like white on rice. Am I missing something?

@CaliKush707 fuck off I wasn't insulting you.
-
@MrSierra954 fuck off i was giving props

@CaliKush707 do you get in your car every day, and say to yourself "I'm a crazy fucker, what about drunk drivers, 16 year old girls texting, old people that can't see, and immigrants who don't know the rules of the road?" You can't shelter yourself from the "what if" all the time. I freedive in FL and I've run into dozens of sharks. It's all about respect.

crazy fuckers what about sharks

@pomolita11 if your gonna spend that much on a camera just get a GoPro HD. They're really nice for about $280 plus you can buy a head strap so you don't have to carry it.

Hey great video! I am going o be investing in a camera soon and was wondering what you guys used? I am thinking the Olympus stylus tough 8010 because of its durability and its 14 megapixel. All my diving will be in mendo and humbold, what you think?

Ha Ha great video! I think the best part might have been the big pan of Good's at the end!!!
Are those a type of Anemone that are up close @ the 2:45 mark? The big white mushroom lookin things, I've always wondered what they are.

Great video. I had a couple questions. I am moving up to Humboldt this summer, and I really inejoy spearfisihing. How north is this?I am moving to Mckinleyville area and it seems that I can't find any information on spearfishing that area. Also what is the water temperature say.. in the spring and summer? Thanks.

@CondemnedPatriot This as well as a all of my other Humboldt dive videos were filmed within a 1.5 hour drive of Mac-Town. Go to Bucksport Sporting Goods on the south end of Eureka and chat them up. They are the only (and very legitimate) freedive shop in Humboldt County. Those guys know their stuff.
Water temp is almost a constant 50 degrees (46-54) year round. You'll need a 7mil freedive suit. Nothing less.
