Master Woo is 6th degree certified international master instructor from World Taekwondo Federation and has been teaching Taekwondo for 19years in the state. In addition, he has earned multiple teaching degrees including physical education teacher's license from the Ministry of Education in Korea and yoga teacher's license from Yong-In University. He has been involved in Taekwondo for more than 30 consecutive years.

Taekwondo is absolutely used in the cage. Just because you see a video of a master doing some kicks doesn't mean it lacks in punches. And on top of that, good luck getting into punching range before a strong reverse kick breaks your jaw.

@goldmine1995 problem is, if you try this against a guy named Chael Sonnen, he would grab your leg in mid-air, slam you and pound you out for 3 straight rounds

@useless241 but you must admit its exremly aggresive..spinning kicks etc..how can you defend agasint a person spinning in the air.u dont no when or were the kick is gunna come from... but they do blocks you learn how to block kicks..but the idea is that you dont a person close enough to punch..u can see urself the range of kicks there amaizng, a leg is longer than a arm, if ur a amazing kicker how is anyone gunna get in range to punch

@GreatDane1992 actually taekwondo isnt a effective martial art inside the cage. Taekwondo appears to lack in punches and blocking them. Still very cool to look at
