  • It is amazing that religion provoked so many wars while at the same time facilitated the creation of such music.

  • i had to audition with this song for the next year of choir. regardless, every girl that was not a soprano came out crying. bahah

  • I chose this last year for my Wife's funeral as we entered the Church. Very moving...

  • I love this so much its a joy to sing and sound so beautifull

  • I love this Requiem but here it is just a tiny bit too fast! Still very well played and sung though.

  • Im a Tenor :) 11th grade

  • I'm happy to be soprano for this .

  • On examining the score for this movement the altos sing two notes, as part of the final vocal cadance....and that's why I'm a soprano!

  • Hi - Can i use clips in this video to make a video for my church? Or do you know whom I need to get permission from? Thanks

  • @ahmedeox Religion provokes wars... FAITH facilitated the creation of such music... Religion is another body politic... A persons faith and their view of their God drives them to produce music.

  • At the end of the day a requiem is just a funeral dirge, but this one is my favorite.
