On examining the score for this movement the altos sing two notes, as part of the final vocal cadance....and that's why I'm a soprano!

@ahmedeox Religion provokes wars... FAITH facilitated the creation of such music... Religion is another body politic... A persons faith and their view of their God drives them to produce music.

At the end of the day a requiem is just a funeral dirge, but this one is my favorite.
