It can get pretty noisy,but in my rig I don´t have any kind of noise because I also have a Boss NS-2,and the gates in the TC-Electronic G-Force, that take off any kind of noise.

Yes, it can! The 2 humbuckers can be split, and in the middle position it gives a strat kinda of sound.
