I thought that making kaya is a difficult process until I found a simple recipe. Now I make my own to spread it on toast for a zesty afternoon break.

This is not the Pandan flavor type. That's why you make the caramel, so that it is brown. However, I think you may want to try out putting in a few pandan leaves and add the flavor. I will try it the next time. Happy cooking. Chee Wah

Hi, This is very simple..Don't you need a pandan leaf with it? I really want to try it. Do you need a double boiler to cook it?
