Wow! Great video! We also checked out your robot design proposal and it looks awesome. We are very surprised that you did not make it into the top 20 teams going into phase 2. However, it might have something to do with the fact that your video essay is 6 minutes long. If we remember correctly, it is supposed to be between 1-3 minutes in length... After looking at all the others we thought we had a pretty good chance. The video length might have been an issue, but the kids are willing to live with it if that's the case. After scripting it, shooting it and editing it, they didn't think it ought to be cut back -- that's why they added the 2nd part -- in case the judges would want to only judge based on the 1.5 minute talking rather than the 'art' piece.

How cool would it be to have a space base on the moon?! A place to launch probes deeper into space, a place to explore alternative energy, maybe even a place to visit for vacation! It is within the realm of possibility. Why has it been over 40 years since we've gone back? Think about the tech used in the 60s to do and what we could do now. Tell your congressman and senator to make it happen. The research and building will help the economy in uncountable ways!
