Homeless in Hawaii...the ongoing problem in Paradise...Like any other city, there are homeless...but here in Paradise they are out in the open year around and have taken up camp in many of the beach parks. It's not only a problem in Hawaii but a problem across the United States that is getting worse! The goverment continues to cover it up and push these people aside as the standard of living continues to go down, in what use to be, the greatest Country in the world...no more.

  • Hey, I don't comment on Waydes Video, I just posted it on my channel for him...He has done a lot for the Homless and drug addits here and took a thankless Job for sometime here in Hawaii @ da Family Treatment Services Division of the Salvation Army in Kahala on Oahu. He did his best to not only feed the homeless but to train single homeless mothers to help them get back into the work force. He was let go when he whistle blew on the the Salvation Army's illegal activities!

  • Good video, But I don't know what your aggravation is about. The Houseless in the parks or the State not doing something about it? Do you care that the homeless are there and having a hard time to be put there due to the ecoonomy? Or is it that Greed in the Gov't and economy care more for their profits and budget then the people who reside in those parks. What's your solution and would you be more clear on what upsets you...

  • @getfitdaddy Wayde has issue with the government, state and the social views mainstream has for the homeless. I have spent time with him when we would feed them on the holidays. If you have direct questions for Wayde you will have to send him a message personally on his Channel. Mahalo Nui

  • Of course drugs are a choice, I doubt that there isn't a person that hasn't been told that drugs are addictive sometime in their life! I grew up in Santa Cruz in the 60's everyone knew that drugs are addictive, YOU make the CHOICE to take that FIRST drink, pill, smoke, whatever, and then you live with the consequences. When are people going to start taking responsibility for their own CHOCES!

  • Continued:

Possibly mental illness due to "serving" this country. We should be offering housing and food.

    Think about it.

  • For all who are in a sense calling homeless lazy and not the governments responsibility: 80% of all homeless in America are military veterans. And being a drug addict is not a choice. You think they just have not thought of quitting? It's a disease. Also many homeless have mental issues. I feel If 80% are vets and have mental issues we as a country shouldn't turn our backs we should create services dedicated to helping homeless live. Mental illness also isn't a choice. 80%vets - possibly mental

  • Thank you for the video bra!! much love and god bless you for your kind words to help your fellow people.

  • This is what Abercrombie wants for all of us....

  • WHERE ARE THEY GOING TO GO? ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE THE CASH TO HOUSE THEM? They have drug, mental and legal problems!! Thats why most of them are out there.

What can the state do? give free and clear homes to people that may not even want to work? Everyone has their own issues but based on my experience if I can do it they can! I was 17 and a single mom and I made it so please dont make excuses for these people! If they wanted to get the help there is 211!!! free care for them apply for welfare!

  • In HI we always have good weather so I am sure people actually come here in order to live. Even if that means on the st. Some people like being homeless! So let's get real not all people that live on the sts is due to the economy. Some people dont want to follow rules in order to stay in low income temp location not shelters but low income locations also. I KNOW BECAUSE MY MOM LIVES ON THE BEACH AND SHE CHOOSES TO!!! I offered for her to stay here but she doesnt want to live by anyones rules!

  • In the past 6 years that I haved lived in New Zealand, I have only seen one homeless person. Why? Think about it..

  • Of those who's running hawai'i.

  • Reach for the gun already and put the barrel to their head!
