USC receiver Eric Affholter takes an out pass down the sideline for a TD in the 2nd quarter of USC's 31-22 victory over ucla in 1988, a game otherwise known as "the measles game." USC eventual Heisman runner up QB Rodney Peete had been diagnosed with measles the Wednesday night before the game but still played every snap at QB and led #2 USC to victory over #5 Troy Aikman-led ucla team.

It was funny as a "know it all" 12 Year Old , I kept telling my dad that Eric Affholter was overrated and other smart things that came from my mouth. We go to the SHRINERS GAME in PALO,ALTO and I get autographs after the game was over, and the first guy over to sign autographs to all the kids was Eric Affholter. On a personal note, I hope he is doing well and living a successful life.
