Norsk Hostfest Brass Band and Organ Extravaganza honoring Gary Stenehjem

Gordon Troxel directs a rehearsal of the Brass Sextet in advance of the Norsk Høstfest Brass Band and Organ Extravaganza in memory of Gary Stenehjem. The group is rehearsing "There's a Great Day Coming" by W.L.Thompson.

The Brass Sextet features Nathan Wilson, Andy Cresap, Joan Haaland Paddock, Todd Cresap, Pat Schwan and Wayne Schempp. Trumpeter Al Schon sat in for Paddock for this rehearsal session.

The Brass Sextet is only one of several musical presentations planned as part of the Norsk Høstfest Brass Band and Organ Extravaganza in honor of Minot musician Gary Stenehjem, set for Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. Tickets are $10 and support the Gary Stenehjem Memorial Organ Scholarship.
