AjkunBT: Arts In Education (High School & College)

Our goal is to enable students to appreciate and understand many different forms of dance, their interaction with music, drama and opera, and to promote unique cultural expressions conveyed by our multilingual Artists representing 5 different continents.

Far more than simple arts appreciation, the AjkunBT's practice is rooted in collaboration between artists and communities
that provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore and understand the arts.

Teachers and school administrators are welcome to contact us to discuss specific projects.
We offer many different performance programs for a range of grade levels that can take place at your school and/or at our venues in Manhattan. Each performance may be introduced by a lecture and followed by a Q/A period with the artists. Study guides available.

Repertory appropriate for High School and College includes selections from works by Mats Ek, Nacho Duato, and emerging choreographers.
