Many memories for me here, I worked on the "Bonaventure" during her fitout at H&W Belfast.

My Uncle Richard Giles served on the Bonaventure. Nice to see some film of it, and who knows, maybe a picture of Uncle Richard too!

Ian thank you very much for uploading, that Tracker formation flying with VU33 has to be very rare footage , never seen it before extremely interesting! My Dad particularly enjoyed the Bonnie footage he was PO (1st class) Tom Ireland then and worked on the electronics side of things keeping the Trackers airworthy and buzzing :) If you by any chance have more (even black and white) I'm certain it would be well well received. Excellent job rendering to digital format much appreciated take care!

Brilliant vid! Thanks for posting.
Thanks for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the video. I served with George Pumple in VU33 in Pat Bay in the 60s. Please pass on my regards.

Awesome!! Must have been a lot of work to get this all set up, but nice to have the memories permanently in the InterWeb... Love the "Universal Studios" theme at the beginning....LOL x0x0

@kelownagamermom thanks for the comments. I used a new piece of software that allows me to digitize analog tapes. The original 8mm film had been placed on analog tape some time ago.
